BONE-shaker MARROW-thon
The second BONE-shaker MARROW-thon was held on Sunday April 19, 2015. The format of the ride changed with Katherine Sinfield now leading the ride on a Tri-Glide trike loaned free- of-charge by Harley-Davidson. The BONE-shaker MARROW-thon also changed venues to the National Brewery Centre in Burton with the family games and stalls scrapped in favour of a more simple affair of hot food and a raffle inside the brewery centre’s dedicated marquee. The weather was excellent and around 100 bikers took part in the ride between the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and Burton on Trent. Again the ride raised money for Cure Leukaemia, Anthony Nolan and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. The ride raised a total of £1,174.22
