BONE-shaker MARROW-thon
The first BONE-shaker MARROW-thon was held on Sunday March 2, 2014. The ride left the Queen Elizabeth Hospital led by Stephen Sinfield at the front followed by more than 100 bikers. The event finished at the Pirelli Stadium in Burton on Trent and included family games and entertainment. Unfortunately, the weather was atrocious and many of the planned outdoor activities were ruined. On Wednesday March 26, 2014, the organisers of the BONE-shaker MARROW-thon along with fellow bikers presented a cheque for £2,036 to the charities Cure Leukaemia, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity (QEHB) and Anthony Nolan. The cheque presentation was held at the hospital in Birmingham.
